Debra O’Connor

Debra has a background in social work, university lecturing and management of health and research organisations. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Debra has many years of experience in chairing community and organisational committees and boards and is keen to join boards which have a mission to which she feels she can contribute. As Deputy Director of the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) she has a very good understanding of current research in ageing and aged care to improve the lives of older people across all settings. Debra has a depth of governance skills and research knowledge.
