SHA Initiatives

Spiritual Health Association with their valued partner, Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH) have collaborated since 2017 to present a suite of learning opportunities for mental health sector workers to explore spirituality and diversity in their workplaces and how they might confidently engage with people for genuine spiritual care outcomes.

Since 2019 the partnership between SHA & VTMH has offered 90-minute themed small group reflective conversation to mental health sector workers.

Into its fourth year the Spirituality & Diversity Discussions project continues to engage a range of clinical, community and peer workforce personnel who are supported to nominate and explore the challenges they experience when attempting to meet the spiritual dimension of human need, expression, and validation within a predominant clinical paradigm.
