As part of a larger Melbourne Ageing Research Collaboration (MARC) project, this poetry exhibition aims to draw attention to the support needs of grieving older people and challenge the notion that grief has an expiry date. Click here to learn more about the project.
Research poetry is a form of arts-based research where poems and poetic statements are carefully crafted from interview transcripts. For this project, the poems are based on 21 interviews with bereaved older adults, GPs and nurses across Australia.
