SHA presents at INSS conference in Ireland

SHA’s Mental Health Leader Jenny Greenham presents the reflective practice project ‘Spirituality & Diversity Discussions' the INSS conference.

Last week, SHA’s Mental Health Leader Jenny Greenham joined 160 delegates from 28 countries in Waterford, Ireland to share in a rich and diverse program for the 7th International Network for the Study of Spirituality (INSS) conference. The theme of the conference was ‘Spirituality, Critical Reflection and Professional Practice in an Uncertain World’.

Jenny presented the reflective practice project ‘Spirituality & Diversity Discussions’ - an on-going collaboration with Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH). The project supports mental health clinicians to work holistically toward outcomes that embrace the Biopsychosocial-spiritual model of care.

Delegates were offered the opportunity to reflect upon current research and its translation into a best practice capacity building training model inclusive of spiritual care for mental health sector workers.
